Agreement

By downloading or using PauseSync, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the software.

What PauseSync is

PauseSync is a small Windows utility for editors. It watches the local Windows audio session for DaVinci Resolve and uses Windows media controls to pause or resume supported background media, such as Spotify, TIDAL, or Chrome media sessions.

Free download and optional payments

PauseSync is available as a free download. Paying what you want is optional support for the project.

If you made a payment by mistake or have a payment issue, contact us at support@pausesync.com. Refund requests for voluntary payments are handled case by case, and nothing in these terms limits rights you may have under applicable law.

License

You may install and use PauseSync for your own personal or professional editing work. You may not sell, repackage, or redistribute PauseSync as your own product, interfere with the website or payment flow, or use the software in a way that violates applicable law.

Updates and availability

We may update, change, pause, or discontinue PauseSync or this website. We may also change the supported apps or behavior as Windows, DaVinci Resolve, browsers, or media apps change.

Compatibility

PauseSync depends on Windows audio sessions and Windows media controls. We try to keep it useful, but we do not promise that it will work with every Windows version, DaVinci Resolve version, browser, media app, audio device, or editing setup.

Third-party services and names

Stripe processes optional payments. DaVinci Resolve, Spotify, TIDAL, Chrome, YouTube, Audible, Windows, and other names belong to their respective owners. PauseSync is not endorsed by or affiliated with those companies.

No warranty

PauseSync is provided as is and as available. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PauseSync and its creator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost work, or interruption of editing sessions arising from use of the software or website.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. If they change, we will update this page and revise the date above.
